services of member processing and share draft processing. Through this combination, Real-Time Data
provides the following system functionality:
- Your staff can clear rejected draft through one screen.
- Your staff can return all the drafts that they cannot clear through the use of one screen.
Phone calls are no longer required, nor is the detail of specifying and manually handling
each draft to be returned.
- Your staff performs a "Stop Payment" request directly through a terminal. Also, the system will intercept
stop payment drafts from being cashed over the counter as well as through in-clearing. Stop payment
requests put an absolute stop on a draft thereby closing the "in-process window".
- Your staff has the capacity to easily certify a member's share draft.
- All files (Return Items, Stop Payment, Certified) are now easily accessible
- Your staff has the convenience of retrieving a check digit on a member's draft directly through a terminal.
- When a member requests a hard copy of a draft, your staff can obtain the copy by simply entering the
information on a terminal screen. The requested copy is sent the next day. Again, these requests do not need
to be coordinated or relayed to a specific person and then telephoned to a third party processor.
- Real-Time Data processed draft can be posted on the same day as received, eliminating some member
confusion at statement time, as the posting date and clearing date will be the same.
